Vær opmærksom på: At hvis du rejser gennem andre EU-lande, det der kaldes transit, skal du huske også, at checke transit-landenes indrejseregler og transit-regler.
Kort og kontant:
Under PERSONLEDSAGELSE - ikke-kommerciel indførsel af hvalp fra et EU-land til et andet EU-land - f.eks. fra Tyskland TIL Danmark eller fra Sverige TIL Danmark (Afrejselandets regler har ingen betydning) :
- Hvalpe 8 - 12 uger: ID-chip, EU-pas og Hvalpe-Killinge-Erklæring udfyldt og underskrevet af hvalpekøber.
- Havlpe 12 - 16 uger: ID-chip, EU-pas, (endnu ikke gyldig) rabiesvaccine registreret i EU-passet og Hvalpe-Killinge-Erklæring udfyldt og underskrevet af hvalpekøber
- Hvalpe fra 16 uger og resten af hundens liv: ID-chip, EU-pas, gyldig Rabiesvaccine registreret i EU-passet. Rabiesvaccinationen er gyldig på 22. dagen. Rabies vaccinationen må gives, når hvalpen er min. 12 uger. Rabiesvaccinationens-dagen tæller som dag nr. 1. og Hvalpe-Killinge-Erklæring udfyldt og underskrevet af hvalpekøber.
*Ved ikke-kommerciel indførsels forståes: At hunden ikke indføres med henblik på videresalg, at det er din hund og han / hun skal hjem til dig og leve og bo for altid.
*Under PERSONLEDSAGELSE forståes: At hunden / hvalpen rejser med dig, sin ejer fra A til B og ikke f.eks. som cargo i lastrummet på et fly - ved flyrejse skal hunden rejse med dig som passager i flyet kabine. Husk at check de enkelte flyselskabers regler for rejse med hund i flykabinen.

A general overwiev over EU-countries´ import regulations:
Member States' decision regarding the application of the derogation from the anti-rabies vaccination condition for young dogs and cats
Member States have discretion whether or not they allow the introduction onto their territory of "young dogs, cats and ferrets", i.e. dogs, cats and ferrets which are
(1) less than 12 weeks old and have not received an anti-rabies vaccination; or
(2) between 12 or 16 weeks old and have received an anti-rabies vaccination but are not yet fully protected (i.e. do not met the validity requirements for the anti-rabies vaccination).

Young dogs, cats and ferrets may be moved:
(1) into a Member State from another for non-commercial purposes in accordance with Article 7 of Regulation (EU) No 576/2013 (see EXCEPTIONS);
(2) into a Member State from a territory or third country for non-commercial purposes in accordance with Article 11 of Regulation (EU) No 576/2013 (seeEXCEPTIONS);
(3) for trade purposes in accordance with Article 10 of Directive 92/65/EEC (see EXCEPTIONS).
Young dogs, cats and ferrets cannot be moved for import purposes.
